About Climate Solvers
Climate change is often presented only as crisis. Climate Solvers focuses instead on the people creating solutions. From scientists and engineers to farmers and entrepreneurs, this project profiles Australians who are reducing emissions, adapting to new realities, and showing that practical action is possible.
About the Photographer
Guy Templeton is a Sydney-based photographer whose work focuses on people and communities creating practical responses to climate change. His documentary project Climate Solvers profiles Australians leading solutions in decarbonisation, adaptation and resilience.
An engineer by training, Guy’s career has spanned senior leadership roles in infrastructure, energy and professional services, informing his understanding of the transition now underway.
He is completing a Master of Arts at Photography Studies College, Melbourne. Climate Solvers is being exhibited at UTS in December 2025, and his work has featured in River Dialogues (2025) in Melbourne and Osaka, the Head On Photo Festival (a Climate Solvers image is the Australian Runner up in the Exposure Awards 2025), and has received awards in the Australian Photographic Prize, the Mono Awards and the Capture Awards.
